At least it's better than having just 5 channels. With 3 full of sport.
Spare a moment to think of us sports fans who are trying to watch 3 or 4 different events at the same time. How would soap addicts like it if all of the soaps were shown simultaneously on different channels?

Those are fine for most things (including soaps) but sport really does have to be watched live. I love my Tivo too but I'm not going to record the England match and then watch it a few days later.
After being close to a couple of news stories I know that what you see on TV or read in the newspapers is usually a complete distortion. The news is all about drama and agendas not facts.
I'd suggest it's not "the worst week" there'll be worse to come. It's Summer.
It's always bad at this time of the year, as a lot of series on the newer digital channels are coming to an end or have already ceased. The problem will be quite apparent to anyone not interested in tennis or football, as it highlights the alternative options on BBC and ITV.

Yeah, there's hardly been any on TV so far.... :D
Always the same when big sports events are on, plenty of other things to do though.
Try it OP.

People use catch up services or PVR.
You beat me to it.

Everything else can either be watched on catch up or downloaded from P2P.
What about breaking news?
Agreed. I don't notice it as much in the evening, as I don't really watch the soaps, but I miss the afternoon quizzes.
Don't tell me the result. I recorded it but haven't found time to watch it yet ;-)
Sport and news. I can't think of anything else I watch live.
I never watch the news.

Never mind,The Commonwealth Games will soon be here.It will be good to have some sport on the box again.
On second thoughts don't bother, there's some paint I have to watch dry that is far more interesting...
