Does anyone else remember that skeletal hand at the end of A Good Man Goes to War?

We all assumed it would mean something in 6B, then it never did, do people think it was a dropped plot thread, or a symbol of the Doctor's death, or what?

It was just a teaser image for 6b, referencing the fact that the Doctor was supposed to die (as seen in the first episode of 6a). It was never meant to be a shot from an actual upcoming episode.

I think it was just a symbol of the Doctor's impending death.

No, we didn't! The discussion on here at the time was mostly assuring a couple of posters that it was just a teaser image, re: the Doctor 'dying'.

I don't really think many people at all thought it was anything other than what it turned out to be - a symbol.
