I've been back for a couple of days but haven't been able to galvanise myself!

It's weird - we could've been standing next to each other in the same pub, or wandering around Plymouth. Were you that guy at the bar wearing cycling shorts and swigging Gaviscon from the bottle:cool:

strange isn't it? If there was a Wedding on I might have recognised you. I know how you like to keep these things close to your chest. :D

We were only in Plymouth for the first Sat night/Sunday, briefly for a send off on our way back and for an evening out watching the play. Pity you didn't get to watch, it was very good.

Glad you had a good time down there.

We were about 15 miles from Plymouth I think - went twice during the day but never at night.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves - I'm planning our next trip now:cool:

Grrr keep looking at the clock and it's ticking around too fast! I wonder if our body clocks get stressed out when we're sleeping thinking the same thing???

minks - BK's in the TK thread if you want to say hello. :)

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain.
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time.
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over,
Thought I'd something more to say.

one little blessing, no visits, safely abroad ;)

g'luck with the late shift. my body clock has finally got a bit more normal after 5 years of them  but anyway just think, farming, seeing the dawn, only the sounds of animals to break the silence, lovely :)

you know the country (the west??!) is in such a state we might as well go back to all being smallholders and start again.
