To address some of your points:
3. Examples?
4. His work has been on the screen for less than two months. If you expect all the cast to get storylines during that time you're tripping.
5. He did give them a Julia's Theme, on the episode they got the result for Paul's killer's trial.
6. Margaret had nothing to do with him, it happened way before he started.
7. Neither did Dean's trial. Again, it happened before he started.
8. Plenty of people like Lee, and his acting has been commendable.
10. Again, this storyline had very little to do with him. It was already in full swing when he joined and would have been written months before.

Agree with all of this.
The stories are flowing better, too. The block storytelling everyone was whingeing about has gone. Every character has something going on (except for Shirley, I think Linda Henry is on her annual break).

Hmm. not so sure. The block storytelling is better than it was but the Beales' story has been left in abeyance for a couple of weeks now just when it appeared to be building up to find out more about Steven's background and what's happened with Peter. I know the actors get time off but it seems an odd time to leave the story when they did. I still want to know why Peter can't or won't get in touch with Ian and Jane. I'm still guessing that Steven has taken or destroyed his passport - but why?

1. I have to say he's axed some surprising people, to me. But I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I think he's going to get it right. I'm most gutted about Masood and Nitin quit, he wasn't axed.
2. Couldn't disagree more.
3. Who?
4. His stuff's been on screen for two months, give him a chance...!
5. They did the week before, which was better IMO.
6. That was DTC, not SOC.
7. Better IMO. Much more effective having an episode on the women he's hurt
8. Speak for yourself. I don't think DBH is a great actor but the story's certainly stirring me.
9. Okay, perhaps this has been a bit boring but they're quite sweet. The girl who plays Bex is great IMO.
10. I agree, I was slightly underwhelmed by this but I do think it was half DTC/half SOC. I also think it's to do with how long Grant was back for - how can you explore it when he's only back for a week or two?
1. Improving Kathy and Ben's relationship
2. Making Kim more sympathetic and less 2 dimensional
3. Telling a raw and real depression storyline
4. Making Jane less irredeemable
5. Progressing Lauren's character finally
6. Mixing up character interactions
7. Making it feel like a community again
8. Showing a realistic and age appropriate story with the teens; Bex and Shakil
