Anyone reckon UKTV could nick BBC3's transmission space and run a soap channel on it repeating the classics?

I wonder would it find any audience share... in the longer term beyond the most dedicated fans...

I'd have the schedule wrapped up in no time.

Broadcasts from 12 midday to 12pm.

12.00 Corrie from the start (double bill)
13.00 EastEnders from the start (double bill)
14.00 Emmerdale from the start (double bill)
15.00 Crossroads from the start (double bill)
16.00 Neighbours from the start (double bill)
17.00 Take the High Road from the start
17.30 Family Affairs from the start
18.00 rise and repeat 15.00-18.00 and then 12.00-15.00 (to prevent scheduling conflicts with current runs of shows)

There's quite a few channels available 7,8 and 9 (I think) all need to be taken over.

    Isn't 8 the welsh language channel? And 9 isn't free either, as that's BBC4.
