flowers?

Don't judge me as a petty moaner - I've loved everything I've seen so far from the number of medals to the lip trembling medal ceremonies but am I alone in thinking the rose posies given to the medal-winning athletes look a bit garage? Though I suppose they're better than the Olympics where the athletes were given what looked like a bunch of carrots and a pineapple. Was that Sydney?

I thought at Sydney they were given a cuddly toy kangaroo each?

This idea was not replicated in London with a toy Wenlock for obvious reasons - nobody would want to cuddle that one eyed thing.

I checked them out and they do look lovely on the website - they're designed by Jane Packer and you can see the lovely herbs and stuff which I didn't think came across so well on tv.

Perhaps they are a little petite for some of the more solid competitors.

It was Bejing where I thought they looked like cauliflowers!

    Garage flowers - you know £3 a bunch when you've forgotten Mother's Day :)
