Facebook helped lead to an alleged burglar's arrest after he stopped [to] check his account on the victim's computer, but forgot to log out before leaving the home with two diamond rings.

Saw this on the news earlier. What a lollipop.

You don't have to be a halfwit to get a facebook account. But it helps.

I'm seriously considering a life of crime myself. When you think about it, most criminals do what they do because they are not that bright and don't have many opportunities to do anything else. And most of the time, they get away with it. I reckon someone with a bit of sense could run rings around law enforcement...

The bloke who burgled my house used my mobile phone to phone his dealer about 5 minutes after he left the house.

I love stories like this. They really make me laugh.

I just can't understand how anyone could be so stupid. I really can't!

What is it about Facebook that seems to attract so many morons? I don't know of any other sites that seems to have so many idiots gathered in one place, apart from the likes of YouTube, IMDB and 4chan but most people on there are just good old fashioned trolls, which is a bit different.

An indication maybe of how obsessed some people are with Facebook.

Maybe he should consider another line of work...anyone thinking of sending that to the Darwin Awards? It's worth an Honourable Mention, surely.

Don't you actually have to die to qualify for an award?

I don't even think you need much sense, to be honest.
