Flood Defence Spending

Possibly this is far to late for many people and high insurance premiums. The Government seem to be spending more in their autumn statement, but is the money there? This flood defence spending is over budgeting as they should have done it years ago, not just plough millions in one big hit.

Cameron out on Tuesday visiting one flood defence and looking pathetic. After all what 1000 of people went through last year and still mopping up now, l think that was just a photo shoot. He should of gone to those homes which were flooded out and now repaired, but he didn't. Flood defence spending needed doing before last year. You can't just let people suffer, then decide to spend now. I hope those who were effected don't vote for him.

How much of the flooding would have been prevented if the government hadn't cut spending on flood prevention?
