I'm not sure about it having never stayed anywhere with one like that. I think its just a fad thing that people have started continually copy catting thinking they need to do it in order to be trendy or whatever. Personally I'd rather have a walk in shower with good water pressure.
Imagine the water that must slop over the sides without you getting out yourself dripping wet. Soggy carpets.

They are the only two bits I am interested in I am sure the brekkie part used to last 5 mins or so, now its not much longer than 5 seconds .
Me too, after all its one of the most important aspects of staying in a B&B for most people.
So would I, I thought today's place was nice.
