Cast has been announced for this year show which is Jack and the Beanstalk. As the run is about 7 weeks does this mean we will be losing peter on screen for 2 or 3 months?

I thought his time off was * open ended * and there is no set date for him to return

I wish I lived near enough to Birmingham to see Chris in Panto; I am really enjoying his role in CS at present.

I think CG is a cracking actor and far too good for panto. I thought Peter was leaving permanently or I may be mistaken. however, I think Peter has been taken as far as he can go now.

Peter is leaving this summer. I think the news passed a lot of people by, but yes he's out 'for good' this time - off-contract is the best way of putting it as it's not a break but Peter will be back eventually.
