That's what I thought, so its a bit unfair of people to try and use Jaz as evidence that Will doesn't keep his promises.

I think Will has been great with his protegees and he will obv be helping Leah all the way as he clearly adores her
Jaz was one example. There are a lot more. There also isn't a shrewd of evidence that he does keep his promises.
