Disney movies, scary, surely not. Some of the Disney movies have a darker feel to them, but they're never that scary (unless someone can prove me wrong?) unless it's a young child who's watching it, who gets scared at anything.
Anybody get any Disney related games when they were younger? I had Castle of illusion, Aladdin, rented out Pinnochio and The Lion King. There might've been a couple of others, but can't really remember.
6feetunder, disney films can be VERY scary to young children. Like I said, I was terrified by Fantasia, and then I couldnt watch REALLY sad stuff like Bambi. I dont know why that was considered entertainment!
Took my little sister to see that when it was first out and cried at
the ending!
Also love Aladdin, Robin Hood, Emperors New Groove and Hercules....great thing about having little siblings is you can watch as much Disney as possible!
As an adult one of the joys of having children is sitting there watching and enjoying the films with them...and you get a second go when grand children come along
Beauty and the Beast is one favourite of ours, We watched How to train your dragon in 3d recently and we all enjoyed it at home.
Does it really matter that the thread got bumped? :-) Mine are:
Aladdin,
Mulan,
Tarzan
Pocahontas
Lion King
Tangled
Frozen
I love a lot of them to be honest. It was also nice to see Return To Oz on here. I loved it when I was a kid. The men on wheels scared the heck out of me lol.
Mary Poppins is by far my favourite Disney film, it's just perfect.
Others, in no order:
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Bedknobs and Broomsticks
Dumbo
Hunchback of Notre Dame (really dark for a childrens movie)
Aladdin
The Lion King
Hercules
Aladdin for me. Robin Williams. Enough said.
And I'm not sure if it counts cos I'm not sure it's technically a film, but Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day is magical.
There arent many Disney films I havent seen..if any..I could watch most of them over and over..but my all time favourite..possibly for music too is The Lion King..I never tire of seeing that film and always shed a tear.
I was brought up with the classics, and I'm afraid I have an aversion to the modern CGI ones ( Toy Story, Frozen etc)
Back in the 80s when I was a kid, we were spoilt with many Disney movies on TV. ITV used to show many of them at Christmas under the 'Disney at Christmas' heading. Films like 'Thomasina' 'The Gnome Mobile' 'Mary Poppins' 'Return to Witch Mountain' 'The Love Bug' as well as cartoons like 'Mickeys Christmas Carol' and 'Dumbo' 'Alice in Wonderland' were routinely shown at the festive period.
We also had 'Disney Time' every Bank Holiday. So there was never a shortage of classics on show.
My favorite of all the Disney cartoons is 'Bambi' and live action 'Mary Poppins' I remember when MP had its TV premiere on Xmas day 1984. This was 20 years after it was released, so they must have had trouble obtaining the rights or something.:D

OMG, the one with Fairuza Balk? That ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS! The heads so frickin scare me!
I also liked Pete's Dragon. It was a real life film, with a cartoon dragon.
Finding nemo
My god, the wheelers were scary! Mombie was even worse though!
I love the original fantasia, but the last one with the big demon guy scared me so much it made me cry and I NEVER watched it!

You are discussing second place.
