i have never done it and i cant see the point of paying for it surely you cant enjoy it wth someone who is only doing it for the money, even if they look like they enjoy it it would only be an act.

You've just described every beautiful woman who marries an ugly footballer/businessman.

I've never used a prostitute and never wanted to.

    I've got dignity.

As for being a single dad and haven't got time, yada yada - imagine if you had a daughter and she was being paid for men to sweat on her, grope her and maybe once in a while get a bit too rough.

Maybe there's a correlation between the mindset of someone who would use a prostitute and someone who can't attract a woman - maybe it's just your personality?

Penn and Teller covered this in their show, Bullshit. A rather funny scene about why guys visit prostitutes and the reality is that for many ordinary looking guys it is a chance to spend time with someone out of their league.

It is no more dishonest than ugly guys with cash convincing themselves their trophy wife really loves them.

Ok sex within marraige is a good thing as its based on love but sex for fun is good too. Sex should be fun.

If you want a drink..then you have one
if you want some chocolates...then you have some
so if you want sex.....go and get it, you dont have to be in a relationship for christs sake.

It;s not sex though is it.

She's being paid to be there. She wouldn't otherwise. When she tells you your great, or she even looks like she's enjoying herself - IT'S FAKE.

    It's not a relationship, it isn't sex.

    She's a receptacle. That's it.

Except she's introduced him to her parents, made him part of her life, maybe even had his children.

The prostitute is there for the money and that's it.

    What about a Doctor, a nurse, a barman, a waiter,a chef?

You pay for their skills, dspite them wanting to be elsewhere.

Forget the 19th century morality, prostitues are workers with a skill to sell, end of. As others have pointed out, if it was leglaised it would clean it up and the seediness would be gone.

So is the trophy wife. I've met many.

You wouldn't happen to be an ugly businessman in denial would you? :D

That isn't comparable and is perhaps the weakest argument for prostitution I've seen.:D:D

I'd never pay a prostitute for sex - I have dignity, and a respect for their's.

No, I'm a successful businessman who has never paid for sex.

You wouldn't happen to be looking to excuse paying someone's daughter for sex would you?

Does a woman earning 200 quid an hour have no dignity?

You don't have dignity, you have a repressed attitude to what sex is.

Let's forget the romance nonsense, sex is an act designed for procreation. We're programmed to do it even when we don't want to. Evolution is evil that way.

When I'm single as I choose to be for the most part I don't want sexual desire leading me into a relationship, so why not hire a beautiful woman to dispense with that urge?

One of my best friends is an escort, she tells me wicked stories about some of the guys she meets and some not to great stories.

At first I was  about it but she insists that she enjoys it, she has more money, she saves she lives better than most of her Uni pals, she works for a decent agency.

After listening to her tell me about it I understand it better and I certainly wouldn't think less of someone who uses the services, my friend is a decent lass who would harm anyone, I think any one who got to meet her would get on wonderfully :)

Knew you were a businessman though. It screamed out of the screen.

Does the wife's tan and blonde hair shape up then?

I've never paid anyone's daughter for sex, or anyone's mother, brother, sister, father, aunt or cousin....

Not married I'm afraid. Somehow I manage to attract women without having to pay for it and tend to go out mainly with lawyers lately.

No, I'm fairly liberal in most of my attitudes. I just think prostitution is unsavoury.

Are you a businessman? Are you even employed?

No, not a businessman, thank God.

    I work in higher education.

So why the problem with people who do work in business? Why the need to criticise my relationship with a wife I don't even have?
