I think she sounds awesome and I know I definitely can't sing like this! She made Like a prayer her own here. Besides, she's the one with the millions of albums sold, and millions of dollars in her bank account. If people really thought she could'nt sing and sounded that terrible then how come she's one of the biggest pop stars in the world?!? I know that when I don't like someone's voice such as Katy Perry (Shouty) and Jessie J (vocal aerobics and boring songs) then I certainly don't buy their singles or albums!
It's just popular not to like Britney Spears at the mo!
Christina can no doubt sing her head off, her melisma and lack of control is not to my taste though, having said that I wouldn't list her as there are MANY worse artists to choose from.
Oh I think it was something like Chrystal Waters. She wasn't very good.

He's mine too. I absolutely love the songs he writes, I just cannot bear to listen to him singing them. Other voices which I can't listen to no matter how talented the singer - any wailing woman but specially Tori Amos, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Bjork (and no I'm not saying they can't sing, only that their voices make me want to smash things up).
