Great wasnt it? Bloody FANTASTIC first show....Saturday night entertainment at its best. I started watching Strictly for the first time as it no longer clashes with XF and what a snoozefest. I find Craig and Bruno entertaining but the whole thing is long winded and not much fun. Compared to the riot of amazingness that was X Factor there is simply NO competition - last nights show had everything - good singers, bad singers, fun, comedy, glitz and glamour, huge great spoonfuls of camp and it was just brilliant. Well done Simon on producing such a great bit of telly.

And triple well done for NO TIE, MINIMAL Mascara ;) AND putting Diva Fever back in :D . Although slightly disappointed with the moobage on offer. Maybe tonight we could see another button undone and a lickle bit more chesty bits sticking out? I notice those vile creatures at the Daily Mail screen capped the one shot where his tummy was sticking out...they will force him into Spanx with shots like that :( . It didnt matter though as he looked pretty hot to me.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed the show last night and cant wait for tonight! Think Wagner and Belle Amie will be first to go (and THANK YOU to my Twitter friend who pointed out Belle Amie is the name of an Eastern European gay porn company :D ) that did make my night - well, that and Diva Fever whipping off their strides to reveal day glo lycra shorts. ;)

I have been cracking up about the Bel Ami/Belle Amie thing all day. It was a brilliant first show, and I was pleasantly surprised by Diva Fever and Tesco Mary. :D

Couldn't agree more, amazing show. Everyone upped their game, viewers were close to 14m, fantastic for an opening show. Loved that they ditched the old playlist so we heard songs never sung on the XF before and watching the wildcards be given their news was quite touching. Imagine ordering a pizza and getting Simon :D So impressed with the production of this show, their best ever opener.

Simon must have been so pleased, because he only looked marginally disappointed when FYD left. He would normally be fuming to lose an act week 1, especially to Wagner's bongo set!

I also watched Strictly, because my Nan insisted i saw Widdecombe's salsa and oh dear, the show is unbearably slow. Maybe i'm just used to the Lightning (c) speed of XF, but it was so dreary. Simon can stop worrying about the shows clashing in future, they are on a completely different level.

Very proud Mr Cowell, but where was the moobage? Maybe he's ditched it now he's 51, he kept mentioning his age?

Romantic Hero? Bless....Im not sure he is the "wet britches out of the lake type" is he? More drenched moobs from the swimming pool? And the competition wasnt exactly Clark Gable either - Wayne Rooney and Jeremy Clarkson FFS?? :D

    And this one....

Nothing secret about it at all, we're out and proud! But they've done him up like Darcy, some romantic hero, it's all wrong! I like my Si as he is, nice unbuttoned shirt and with chest hair and moobs popping out! Si, all rough n ready!

Assurances from Snit and Brother Tony on Twitter that he will be there apparently. Mummy's chicken soup and copious amounts of Angel Delight are helping him cope, so I have every thing crossed he'll make it to the show tonight. Although last year when he had a cold, he wore his tie (obviously to hide the Vicks that would be glistening amid the chest hair) so I think we might have to prepare ourselves for that. Its not good for the moobies to be out in this chilly wind and with him a tad poorly, so if they are tucked up tonight, I will forgive him this once. Better be back out in their glory next week though....:) .

I finally like the grey suit on him! I don't why it took me so long.

Here's Simon in a vest and blue shorts...no, seriously.

Nice to see Simon has been heeding our fashion advice so far this season - NO tie yet (lets hope it stays that way - it ages him 10 years and having him look older than Louis simply WONT DO ;) ) - mascara has been kept to acceptable levels (sure sign Kerching has been jettisoned :D) - the grey suit has been out already too - and very nice it was - even better than last years - he went out and got himself a new one, obviously after noting how hot he looked in it.

The only thing we need to work on this series is the amount of undone buttons - its been a bit weak so far - only a slight glimpse of chest hair sightings so far - I reckon there is plenty of scope for another one undone tonight -what do you reckon girls?

Yes - I think there is another thread on it. We dont discuss such things in here - this is for worshipping only (with only the teeniest tiniest bit of naughtiness) ;)

Talking of which, HD screen caps from the weekend...

Who saw Snits tweet that ALLEGEDLY Simon has a Halloween costume for the weekend - speculation on what it might be? Although Im not getting too excited yet - I dont think "dressing up" is Simon likes to do in public :D

Anything that involves a heavily ripped shirt would be good though...

Are we disappointed Kerching didnt whizz back to London on her Prada Broomstick to join in the Halloween festitvities?? Nah - I dont think we are ;) Still sulking in LA nursing her Balenciaga bags I suppose.
