Phelan - Villain of the year 2014??

I can see him winning this at the next Soap Awards, or NTA's or whichever has the "villain of the year" award!!!

    You know a villain is doing a good job when they make the Windass' family seem remotely likeable.

    There are much better villains on the list (sienna and janine.) Phelan is ok he might be better if b they gave him a better sl.

    He hasn't been there long enough, plus there are better villains like Sienna, Patrick and Janine there. My vote, however, goes to Cameron Murray- that whole storyline was spectacular.

    He's brilliant. Shame they have brought him in for such an OTT plot so he can't really hang around.

    Did I actually just write this given that this is the soap that gave us the worst serial killer in history in the awesome Stapemeister?!

    Not sure about villain, although I heard rumours that he's on course for Time's 'Person Of the Year' award.

    Why would the legend that is Phelan be up for Villain of the Year? :confused:

    Make it Sex God of the Year and we can have a sensible discussion. :cool:

    There is something likeable about Phelan as horrible as he is. Or maybe I'm just being biased because I'm a Scouser... yeah, probably :D

    I reckon Phelan could hang around, Corrie do that with characters that are liked. Look at Mary, her swansong was when she went all "Misery" on poor Norris but she was liked so they brought her back as a permanent character.

    Perhaps he could offer Owen a way out of the £80,000 he's lost and take the yard and all his business too, slate clean or even buy the Rovers:D

    He should win it he's by far the best villain across all the soaps and plays his character brilliantly.

    Phelan is so well acted. I think he stands a chance for Best Villian (or whatever it's called). I'd like him to stay for a bit longer. Perhaps if he has filmed himself in bed with Anna and put it on the disk we'll see the Windass / Armstrongs get their revenge somehow. If his wife finds out she could take everything as it's all in her name and leave him with zilch.
