Cilla Battersby-Brown - should come back and back in with Fizz and her new young toyboy once John is found out and exits the soap.
Todd Grimshaw - more believable gay character than crappy sean - could actually give him a decent storyline to rival emmerdales aaron and jackson one.
I would like to see the return of Cilla maybe toned down slightly it would give a boost to the character of Chesney. I would love to see her take on Owen

I know it's a recent one but i will miss Ashley, especially his scenes with Graeme in the butchers

Fred, Blanche, Curly and Mavis. All of them were really good characters and could do the comedy and the tragedy equally well. I think Ashley going is a real shame as I think him and Clair worked really well as the 'normal' couple in the street.

Although only minor and really a recurring character, I quite miss Gail's dad Ted. Really brought some balance to the chaos of the Platt family (i.e. David seemed to respect him), and was a shame he disappeared right before a storyline he really should've been involved in (Joe's death/Gail's trial)
