The White Woman on the Green Bicycle

Has anyone read it?

I've had it on my book shelf for ages, looking forward to reading it. Then I began it and was a bit deflated for the first 20 plus pages, then it seemed to liven up and I am beginning to enjoy it now.

Any thoughts?

This is on my wish list to be read next. It was also going to be my suggestion for DS Book Club. Anyway thanks for your comments I know now to persevere. Reading "Never look back" thoroughly enjoyable and should be finished soon.

Also it takes a while to get into the Trinidadian lingo

I found it very disappointing as nothing much really happens. I liked the setting and the trinidad lingo - that was the best part. It just did'nt seem to really go anywhere. It took me too long to warm to the woman in the story, she was not a sympathetic character.

Onto part 2: Arrival and I am really enjoying it. Curious to see what happens.
