I don't think there will be many songs that no one, even on here, wont have heard of.

But there are bands that aren't very well known here in the UK, even though they may be hugely popular in the US, Australia, Europe or wherever else. So I don't think there's anything wrong with posting such bands personally even if they do have millions of YouTube views.

    In fact, here's a few:

    Imagine Dragons - It's Time.

Young The Giant - My Body.
The Naked and Famous - Hearts Like Ours.

Couple from the 80's that virtually no one else seems to have heard of.

Vicious Pink - Take Me Now

Mark Shreeve - Storm Column This guy was Britain's answer to Jean Michel Jarre.

Maybe that song, but Naked and Famous - Young Blood is used everywhere.

According to wikipedia, it's been in Covert Affairs, The Almighty Johnsons, Chuck, Gossip Girl, Degrassi, Awkward, Secret Circle, and others.

It has. but few people seem to know who the group is here in the UK. One of those cases where most people recognise the song but don't know the group or anything else they've done. They are doing very well in the US though I believe.

Color Theory - Snowing. Sounds eerily like Martin Gore of Depeche Mode.

    T'was Reese & Santonio.

I've listened to this chillwave song a lot today (well the entire album has been on repeat while I did work):

FM Attack - Mixed Signals - less than 1000 views.

Bugs Eat Book - Ian is Going to New Zealand.

Heard it about fifteen years ago on John Peel's Radio 1 show. Finally found it last year on Myspace (of all places).

Here it is if anyone wants a listen.

It's a little daft but I like it.

I'm a big fan of Alistair Griffin, he was runner up on Fame Academy years ago and put out a few poppy tracks afterwards but has been putting out some beautiful songs in the past few years.

Some will know his song 'just drive' from F1 coverage, but pretty much any song on his 'Albion sky' album is a winner. I am a real sucker for his song 'I have lived'. He's a real underrated talent in this country which is a shame

Joe ft G unit- Ride with U.
    ATB - 9pm (Till I Come)
    Jhelisa - Friendly Pressure
    Martine Girault - Revival

Diana Brown and Barrie K Sharpe - The Masterplan - THAT was a TUUUNE!
    Tears by Frankie Knuckles.
    Alyson Williams - Sleep Talk
    Channelle - One Man
    49ers - Touch Me
    Clivilles & Cole - Pride - A Deeper Love
    Adeva - Respect
    Joe Smooth - Promised Land
Robert Owens - I'll Be Your Friend

Rather surprised that these songs are mentioned in this thread as I'd say all of the above are very widely known.

ATB was number 1 in the Top 40 and Tears and Promised Land still get played in clubs now.

Someone mentioned Kimbra. She's amazing, love her entire album, especially Possé and Old Flame.
I've really begun disliking his music more as he went more electronic, but Will.I.Am ft. Baby Kaely - Ghetto Ghetto is a really lovely song with a good message.
    Also:
    Santigold - Disparate Youth
Neon Hitch - Pink Fields, Born To Be Remembered
    Loreen - Heal
    Katy B - Go Away
    Gossip - Casualties of War
    Daniel Merriweather - Impossible
Aiden Grimshaw - Hold On, Nothing At All
    :)

    Love that album :)

    Love that album :)

    the whole of loreen's album

you wouldn't have thought that it would be much, since we only really know the song she won eurovision with (or came second, can't remember)

    but it's a quality album

They are good. In fact they're one of my favourite bands. Their current album is called Escape and that one came out last year. Their first album is called Dirty Little Secrets and it came out in 2010. DLS is harder to find than Escape as they don't sell it any more so you might have to search some other *ahem* sites to find it.

We don't sell DLS anymore because we don't like it anymore. Some of the songs on the album are not really up to scratch. I'm sure you can find it on..."ahem" sites... We've got a new album coming out later in the year that blows everything we've done out of the water.

The Wanted - Last To Know (hate the band, love that one song!)

Hurts - Stay (I think people know about it, but still...it's relatively unknown)

I would have to agree with Stay by Hurts. Relatively unknown band here, but very big on the continent.

Plus, it helps that the lead singer Theo is seriously good looking:D
