Must be some error as xfactor songs shouldn't be counted in charts but Lucy when i last checked was 15 here http://livehits.co.uk/top300.php?PHPSESSID=0ba623fd355bbb1ca6bfc037360124a1

    For me on that link it says Ella is #16 and Lucy is #53.

    Disregarding this silly chart, don't forget that Lucy is the only one of the 13 who has genuinely charted. With her own material.

    Not really. The rest are Karaoke contestants.

    Admittedly Lucy is on the wrong show, she'd have won BGT and become huge very quickly, and X Factor's bullshit contract that ties people up for 29 years will ruin her chances of a decent career but still. Most talented on the show.T

    The ideal show for Lucy would have been Sky's Must be the Music but it got shelved. The winner Emma Gillespie was very similar to Lucy.. clever.singer songwriter with a guitar.

    Yeah, she was great. I loved "This day", the song she performed on MBTM

    Lucy is atrocious; I give her some credit for being able to play guitar...but just because she manages to string some verses together about absolute mundane subjects - it does not make her a great or even good songwriter.

    Her songs aren't cleaver, she isn't anywhere as talented as Victoria Wood or has the commercialism of Kate Nash. Lilly Allen was doing the talking/singing thing back in the mid 00's and Mike Skinner is the daddy and actually has a credible back catalogue and this is before you look outside of people in her "genre".

    Title of this thread should read Lucy needs shooting.

    She is not a singer.

    I would compare her with Pam Ayres, the poet.

    God I've been asking this for quite a while now. I only heard the full thing recently. I don't think I've ever quite wanted to throw my money at an X Factor contestant before, but here we are.

    My point was, had Ella uploaded her original song onto iTunes, it probably would've had the same success. You can't compare thirteen people in a field where only one person had a go :)

    So i was wondering.On every show is she going to have her guitar. Tonight she did her own song and did not sing a cover like the rest of the contestants that doesn`t does not seem fair to me.Tulisa made a comment about one of garys contestant not sticking to the themed night,But Lucy didn`t either ?
