Speechless...... Miliband neck and neck with Cameron in all polls bar one and came FIRST in one... Sun leads with this:

That sort of thing is the reason why people take the papers less and less seriously as every day goes by.

It should be illegal to blatantly mislead like this. Ironically that's part of the treason they're so terrified of Ed winning. He backs the Leveson recommendations.

Not really , Labour as a party may be neck and neck with the Tories BUT Millibland is not polling numbers anywhere near Cameron's and in that sense they are right.

Labour needs a better leader, not this waste of space multi millionaire, he is the guy that will preside over a damaging split within the party in the next few years as Metrosexual Labour and grassroots Labour split into new parties.

This is Why Andrew Neil went so angry with me on Twitter.
but this was the point I was making the older press (TV papers) cant see people see headlines like this and talk on Social media both sides debate and the full story comes out. TV And the printed press haven't moved on, Yet what's the first thing they do? look on social media for instant reaction and online polls for instant results.

Anyone who decides their vote upon what they're told by the papers doesn't deserve to have one, frankly.

Laughing at all the replies to that tweet. So far, no-one seems to agree.

Illegal , please get a grip, where have you been living for the past few decades, the sun has always been sensational in its front page headlines, and for the record Levenson recommendations are a joke, he wants to neuter the press.

Frankly no one really gives a **** about celebrities phones allegedly being hacked.

Yes, I agree, everyone who watched the debate and follow politics will be shocked and outraged but we are talking about the Sun. they seem to think they make the news not report it. shameful

The only thing the snap polls really agree on is that Bennett & Wood were dire- of course you don't see the headlines reflecting that!

Ok, maybe illegal is a bit extreme, but the press could certainly do with being more balanced and based upon fact. Surely you must agree it would be better for the public?

Well thankfully the power of the press is nowhere near as strong as it was 30yrs ago but theres no doubt papers give some people there opinions.

It will not be sadly the press is owned by private individuals, the only thing to do is what i do hit em in the pocket and do not buy the tosh.

I just pick up the free metro paper otherwise i would not bother.

Boyard believe it or not I live for the day print media dies, they are all as bad as each other, The Mirror and that scum Pish Moron for its tissue of lies about British squaddies, The Sun and its scummy editor for the lies about Hillsborough, The Guardian for being a piece of shit that thinks it's something.

    I hate them all.😝

Fraser Nelson was spot on. Miliband could have won the election tonight if he'd landed a knock-out blow. He didn't. Cameron had to dodge any such blow, and he didn't need to.

As such Cameron succeeded and Miliband failed.

Remember this is from the sun, the paper who supported the police during the Hillsboro tragedy, a paper hated in Liverpool
