I think kosher food has been blessed in a temple...

I must be missing something; how can celery be prepared so it's kosher?

It's about the food mixing also. Meat and dairy can't mix or be stored together, so presumably the same would apply for vegetables sharing the same storage space?

Although I'm pretty sure that is vegetables, etc are Parve and not Kosher... You can't get kosher vegetables.

    Jenna's fridge
Asking Janice to respect her food, religion, and herself.

How to scrape off Kosher butter asks Janice.
Janice is sick, starving and old.

In a way I can understand Jenna being upset at someone eating her special food. But too much was made of it.

Food (and food preparation) is kept separate.

Thanks star, we did wonder.. That would explain why vegetables etc has to be kept seperate. Although I didn't realise you couldn't eat at the same people that are eating non kosher food.

Ah Celery... the food everyone craves when they're starving...

    Why is she starving anyway?

Looking at the width of Janice a stick of celery is her calories for the whole day!

There is a possibility that kosher food must not be stored with non kosher food - I have a Jewish friend and can't remember everything but do know at certain times, they have to use different cutlery for food etc. nothing must be stored with milk etc. etc.

Her kosher food. It would appear that she is the only hm who is Jewish and observing a traditional kosher diet. She cannot eat the other hms food and I'm sure like the other hms she only gets a certain allotment. I'd be pissed.
