Cosmic Thing by The B-52's, the ultimate feel-good album for people who like it frothy!
Listened to this yesterday evening in the sun, really felt like summer was here. 'Roam' still sounds fresh, I was joking that they must have had to gag and tie Fred up in a closet while the girls recorded this, he must have been dying to chip in with some nonsense. I love the B-52's but it is nice to just hear Kate and Cindy at times.
My other summer fave is Janet by Janet Jackson, perfect for the sun and reminds me of a rather fruity summer in Ibiza, especially That's The Way Love Goes.
Dodgy - Homegrown. One of the most underrated bands of the whole britpot era. Love this album, it should have sold by the truckload! Staying out for the summer one of the best songs of the 90`s imo:cool:
