Zara and Mike seem like a good couple - both into their sport and look as if they enjoy a good laugh. They seem pretty normal.

I've heard quite a few comments about his looks, but who cares?? He may well be a decent bloke. They look very happy together and that is surely the whole point!!

Indeed, it's quite obvious that they are in love with each other and that's all that matters. I know it's not a popular opinion but that is something I don't really see with regards to William and Kate. Anyway, I wonder which couple will be the first to hear the patter of little feet.

Well Zara wishes to complete in the 2012 Olympic Games, so in theory that means no thoughts of babies until Autumn next year.

Looking at Kate's weight, I wonder if she will even be able to get pregnant... And if she does, will her tiny frame be able to cope? That dress looks hrorible on her, it should not be that baggy.

As others have also pointed out she sometimes looks a bit estranged and uncomfortable around the senior Royals too, apart from Harry. So, let's hope that William isn't as cold and unsympathetic as Charles and she doesn't go down the Diana route.

As far as I was aware we have only seen pictures of her with the senior Royals at formal occasions. I am sure most people have relatives that they only meet at formal occasions and have no desire to socialise with at any other time but the Queen is said to be fond of her and Prince Philip always likes a pretty face!

But how are they with dealing with any problems she might be having in her new role. It's quite obvious that weight issues are beginning to take root and it needs to be addressed early on. I do think that the Royal family can behave in a cold manner to those who don't deal with problems in the way that they would, though. Even the Queen and Philip have often been accused of being that way with their own children.

Several of Prince Charles' generation do seem quite snobbish so it would not surprise me. Most of Zara Philips' generation seem to be more exposed to the real world.

People keep writing about how she has lost weight since the engagement but there is an article today about how she reuses clothes which shows her in the same coat as she wore yesterday but at another wedding 5 years ago. I can't see any significant difference between her in the two pictures.

Going off on a tangent, it struck me after the Norwegian murders how the King of Norway went to visit the survivors as soon as possible then attended the church services. I can imagine that here the courtiers would tell that the Queen that it would be against protocol and she should send Prince Charles.

Kate will put on some weight when she is good and ready. When she settles into to the new job of being the Duchess of Cambridge and finds her feet, I'm sure she'll bloom.

Why was Katherine Kelly (Becky from Coronation Street) invited to the wedding?

Maybe Zara or her boyfriend are a fan of Coronation Street/Becky? Unless one of them is a friend of Katherine Kelly, or both.

I think she was at school with Mike Tindall and their families have stayed in touch.

I really liked Zara's outfit and thought she looked stunning. I think her and Mike are so obviously in love and very touchy-feely. I have to say, I am wondering whether she is already "with child" because to my eye she has that look about her! Remember you read it here first!!;)

Kate is looking painfully thin and looking 15 years (at least) older than her real age, in all those fuddy duddy clothes. Obviously she can't look chavvy or tarty but she could look chic and elegant in the right clothes.

Beatrice looked slightly better than she usually does and Eugenie didn't look too bad either. Just the hemline on her dress was very badly done. You'd think with all their money they's be able to pay someone to do it properly.

I've never understood why some people seem to feel such hostility to Beatrice and Eugenie. They seem perfectly pleasant girls.

I completely agree. From what I've seen on the TV and in the papers, they really do seem like lovely lasses.

If you mean me (maybe you don't) I have nothing against Beatrice and Eugenie. They always seem quite good fun, very smiley and quite down to earth (for Royalty that is!).

I liked the way Zara closed the door of her car as she arrived at the church. I think she couldn't care less what others think about her and that's what I like about her.

There is a lot of anger in Edinburgh in regards to this farce, it has been alleged that the police used heavy handed tactics when dealing with householders whose properties overlooked the venue/route. Allegedly turned up without warning and warrants and proceeded to intimidate the householders into allowing the flats to be searched.

It was also alleged that some residents were ordered to leave their homes for the duration of this non event.

If it was a private wedding then why did the taxpayer pay for security ect. Parasites.

To take your last point first, the taxpayer pays for security when it is needed, whether at a wedding, a funeral, a sports event, a protest march or a visit by a high risk person to the shops. It is ludicrous to suggest that someone likely to attract rowdy and even violent protests should be obliged to foot the police bill because they are getting married. Just be glad that you are not at risk of abuse, thrown objects etc because of the circumstances of your birth.

To take your other points, it is regrettable, but hardly the fault of the bride and groom, if the police behaved in an insensitive manner. I understood from the press reports that the wedding occurred on the Royal Mile during the Festival; now I have been on the royal Mile during the Festival many times, and can't really envisage how the lives of those living there can be any more disrupted than they are already. With crowds, noise, impromptu music, vuvuzelas, stilt walkers, sword fighters, pipers, drunks, people with loud-hailers, more pipers, church choirs, satirists on soap boxes and people with bull horns outside their houses for about 20 hours a day for a month, you would think that a mere royal wedding would be an oasis of tranquility.

It said on the news that a woman who had planned to get married in the same church on the same day as Zara was asked to change her venue so Zara could have that church. Seemed a bit odd to me.

he's training for the Rugby World Cup which starts in September and she is busy with eventing so could have been the only date that they could have both made it along with the Queen

I think they make a lovely couple. Apart from Kathryn and the Queen, Camilla looked pretty good. Did'nt rate Beatrice and Eugenie, but I dont think they ever look Glam, but I do like them.
