Neil, do you have full access (allowing you to access five-minute breakdowns etc)? If so, could you provide the figure for 'Blue Peter: You Decide' for yesterday at 5pm? And possibly a demographic breakdown for Your Face Sounds Familiar? Thanks in advance
Sorry, I missed this one. I still don't have access at the moment.
Channel 5 main channel has axed The Walking Dead from Saturday 11pm schedules. It will now only be shown on 5*.
Yes, according to Digiguide, the Sunday 10pm slot on 5*, which previously was to repeat the previous day's Channel 5 showing, will from this weekend become the premiere slot. There will then be a repeat showing on Channel 5 at midnight on Mondays, a day after the 5* premiere showing.
Hopefully that makes sense. More sense than Channel 5's thinking in the first place, perhaps: what did they expect at 11pm on a Saturday? It did get a higher share (314k/2.6%) than BBBOTP which preceded it (415k/2.4%) - both exc +1.
Incidentally can I point out that tonight and tomorrow BBC1 closes down - I know it doesn't close down, but it starts simulcasting News 24 - at 12.05 which must be the earliest it's done so for years. I think the last time it went to News 24 earlier than that would have been 7/7 or some other major event when they just abandoned any late film or anything, and heaven knows the last time it was scheduled to close down this early. You might be looking at twenty years ago when BBC1 last closed down around midnight.
During the 2008 Olympics, BBC1 went to the News Channel at 2350 one Saturday night - though only for 15 minutes so not a proper closedown, just filler really
According to digiguide, whats Channel5 showing on Saturday at 11pm instead?
Bit on the Psych, following BB which is at 10.
MPD runs from 20:20 to 22:00, so they appear to be working off the 22:00 junction for that reason, rather than YFSF's finish time of 20:45 as per last week. They do have Mrs Brown's Boys to contend with at 22:00.
The Apprentice good quality of contestants and series hasn't translated into huge ratings this year. Wonder if it will rise now as they begin to tie up the series. It dipped again slightly last week but its been a more entertaining series this year. I think given stronger competition from itv the Apprentice could have been become more vunerable in its timeslot given its age but Love and Marriage seems to not have been a successful drama or challenger to the Apprentice despite a great cast.
Pity about the weather forecast for Sunday. If Murray makes it will it keep a lid on the ratings potential ?
We might see an exceptional share I'd imagine as nothing else will be keeping people from the outdoors surely !
Will you then forget this and proceed to fake shock when the ratings show how nobody watched Murder She Wrote on the other side, like you did this week?

The fact that they didn't even pretend that it was a serious business competition this year (particularly the women) and it is basically just a reality show in suits may have effected the ratings.
Those people who would never be seen dead watching reality tv but always watched The Apprentice may have been put off.

I'm not sure as to what the use for that would be, as when it comes to the yearly top 10/30 we don't include +1 for the officials.
When people are collecting ratings for shows on commercial channels, sometimes the +1s are missing.

They should do it for HD as well.

What the hell is Bit on the Psych?
The weekly special edition of Bit on the Side where they get a psychologist on to explain the mental workings of the housemates.
After one week?!
What happened to the Neighbours "This Week" highlights show they showed the week before last? Was that just a one off?
Wow I've really missed out there :D that sounds rubbish.
I keep meaning to watch it as I loved the old psych stuff on Channel 4, but I keep forgetting.
Edit
Already been mentioned so ignore
Coutryfile? never droppping below 4million even in hot weather
I imagine it would have been kept if it rated well, but this result made sure it remained a one-off:
Saturday 22 June (exc +1)
23:25 - Neighbours: This Week: 184k (2.2%)
Even worse than The Walking Dead which replaced it (for one week!).
If it follows the same pattern as last summer, ten weeks, ending on Wednesday 21 August.

BBC2 is the current channel of the year.
