Wireless speakers

Hi,
As the weather is getting nice and sunny I'm thinking of getting some speakers in my garden to listen to music for parties etc.
I don't know much about this, but all of the speakers I've seen (so far) connect to the stereo via the headphone socket of the stereo, meaning that you won't get any sound of the steeo's speakers.
I'd like to attach the speakers to my Roberts MP-23, but have sound coming out of it's speakers as well as the oudoor ones.
Is this possible?
Any help would be appreciated!

To be honest, without spending a fortune, I think you'll struggle.
The problem with wireless speakers is that thay need a power source as they need their own built-in amp. Anything decent is gonna consume too much power for batteries.
I eventually plan to put some speakers in the garden, but I'm gonna hard wire them ..... in which case they need to be weatherproof so you can leave them out there.
I don't like the 'rock effect' ones. Every set I've ever seen looks seriously cheap and nasty. Reckon I'll end up with a set of these:
