Yes unfortunately. Personal opinion, but I really can't stand the guy!
Aww give him a chance. I thought he was going to be in Eastenders though, is he going to be a regular?
Doesn't really show much though.
I'm with you on that.
To be fair, I've only seen him in one drama that I recall so I should give him a chance, but he was so dreadful in that particular show it's left me scarred.
That's what I've read, hope it's wrong.
I'm not doing well on giving him a chance, am I?
He can act, it's just that he over emphasizes the cockney and it becomes a bit cartoonlike, he might tone it down a bit for his role. Fingers crossed
I'm trying to remember the name of the drama I saw him in. It was a one-off police thriller type thing, think it was probably a pilot for series that didn't get commissioned.
Just checking his IMDb out and had no idea he put a voice to a character in the Grand Theft Auto franchise of games, surely I should have heard his voice, maybe he can do accents after all because I can't recall his voice popping up
Anyway it turns out that he will only be guest starring in one episode of Casualty, he won't be a regular, so Dyer haters can breathe, however Abi Titmuss will be in the same episode
My TV might melt through the sheer talent on screen.
Just out of interest where did you read he's just guesting, because Wikipedia - known for its accuracy I know - states he's a regular.
DS had a story that he was to be a regular
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s18/casualty/news/a351864/danny-dyer-joins-cast-of-casualty.html
Danny Dyer has signed up for a permanent role on Casualty.
The Age of Heroes actor will play a paramedic in the BBC One medical drama, PA reports.
Quite a few other publications have him as joining as a paramedic yet others have him as a one off as the relative of a victim
It was here http://www.whatsontv.co.uk/drama/casualty/news/danny-dyer-to-guest-star-in-casualty/14615
However like you say and everyone else it looks like it's wrong because other reports state he is to be a new paramedic.
pictures don't give much away but it sounds asif teh new set is huge, could of done with more shots though.
Yes, but I can still hope...;)

"Heart Racing"
"Heart Stopping"
"Heart Breaking"
Are our first glimpses of what the new opening titles may look like.
Saw the trailer on tv earlier but thank you SillyTilly
for posting the youtube link so I can watch it again properly!
Looks amazing! Can't wait till Saturday!
My only complaint is that there seems to be a significant amount of set painted in a yucky mustard yellow colour which is a seriously bad choice for hospital decor! Not very pleasant on the eye!
