  I wonder how much of the original music remains intact as I think this was the primary reason that had been previously been given as to why a DVD release was problematic.

  I loved this at the time as well..........it was one of those bittersweet comedy shows that the Americans do so well.......
  
  I thought it got better as it went on and the 'kids' grew up

  I was thinking that after I posted the thread.
  
  But as tso mentioned an official boxset is being released around Christmas which will have all original music intact....it looks most impressive.
