Do I qualify as a new Sky customer?

Been looking at their website but can't find a definition of 'new' or 'existing' customer.

Used to pay a Sky sub but haven't for several years - just use the free channels.

Now purchased new TV and am considering once again buying a Sky TV package. Does anyone happen to know if once being a customer counts as 'existing', or not?

    If you've been away (i.e. not subscribed to any Sky package....regardless of if you use the box or not) for more than 12 months then you will be classed as a new customer.

    Thanks very much Big Hard Lad - don't know why Sky don't give away much info on their site!
