She is to marmite a contestant to Win the x factor snd even if she did there are no garantees ..the longer she stays in the more more abuse she will get by trying to fit in with the script
She has already seen her music sell on itunes
Its all about timing really ..she had to quit at the point in which she does the least damage to herself but also gives her the maximun exposure..

if she wants to keep her ' integrity' (she sold that when she entered the Xfactor) she should just leave and sell her stuff without the Xfactor to back her up
I'd love it if she did quit, if they hated her already she could really spill the beans on how this 'reality' show operates.
If it really is a 'reality competition' as it presents itself the candidates should be able to leave at any time as you would be able to from a job you were getting paid for.

I agree with this. I hope they let her out before she's crammed onto the tour. She's exposed herself now and has a bright future, she needs further of this mess like a hole in the head. Let her get out and do her thing far away.

Why shouldn't she have used the X Factor to showcase herself? You don't like her work, fine. Production were determined to have her in the lives and now she wants out. Well done. Bigger than the show? Of course not. Someone who has made use of the show? Seems like and good on her. God knows what she's going to have to do to get out of the contract., good luck to her.
I'm guessing it isnt a crisis because Lucy wants to leave, but its a crisis because they chucked the only other girl bar Ella off the show last week, and dont want a run of what, 7 - 8 weeks of one girl and a load of blokes.
Should have thought of that before ditching Jade for a carbon copy of another act on the show.

I could see her bottom two this week as viewers might have forgotten about her as she was ill last week.
