120 gig iPod classic has 16 gig taken for other - why?

I noticed the other day that my iPod had 11 gig taken for other, I was advised by apple to restore, which I did, now I have 16 gigs taken.

I have no photos, games or videos installed, just 10,000 tracks.

Anybody able to help?

    Do you have any Hi-res artwork attached to the audio files? This could take up a fair amount but nowhere near as much as 16GB.

    Is it enabled for disk use?

    My iPhone and iPad has the same, I just assumed it was for pre installed software.
