MPs and their expenses - quick question

Hi, I'm not sure if this should go in this forum or the General Discussion? Apologies if I'm in the wrong one.

I'm doing a presentation at Uni on the MPs' expenses, and am struggling to find what date the Daily Telegraph first printed the story. Does anyone know please? I think it was May 10th, but need to be certain! Would be very grateful if someone could let me know please?

Given that you need to be certain, why don't you email the Telegraph and ask them?

I thought this would be quicker.

Why not simply use the phrase, "on or about the 10 May". In the highly unlikely event you're challenged, just waffle on about how your describing a process rather than an event, ie all the rumours leading up to the actual publication date.
