Sorry to disappoint, but Henry definitely starts to show his age. And not that much bed hopping, but of course there is some - it just won't be the King doing it.

The chap who plays Henry is so sexy.

I was watching a documentary on the History Channel about Henry. Before he died Henry was fat 28 stone, bloated with syphillis and ulcerated legs. When in his coffin his body exploded leaving a foul stench before the buried him........

Am glad The Tudors is coming back - bit of daft escapism for a Friday night. Used to be very scathing about it, but now I take it at face value and enjoy it.

If you go onto youtube there are a few clips of whats to come...Jonathon Ryhs Meyers does not even come close to being the 28 stone henry V111 when he died...Catherine Parr his final wife is being played by Joely Richardson

It happened to Henry's body as well. At least, the coffin leaked during its transportation to Windsor - a dog was found licking up the blood and stuff under the coffin during one overnight stop.

BTW, is 6th August correct for the series starting? It's not showing up in tv listings for that date.

i have looked in next weeks listings mag and its not there,also if there was the new series on the 6th August some of the mags would have features and also it would be on the cover,maybe it wont be til the middle/end of August ?

I don't think it does start on the 6th August- ! I checked Radio Times website for that day and The Tudors is not scheduled to be shown at any time

Season 4 is not a patch on the previous 3 seasons, Johnathon Rhys Meyers has a really stong Irish accent half of the time as well - really strange.

Still no word on the mystery start date!! I read in weekender magazine last week that it started on the 6th august and got all excited!!!

Hopefully we won't have long to wait!!

I've been looking in the TV mag every week since June to see when it's coming, but there's been nothing. They start airing a new five-part series in The Tudors 9pm Friday slot tomorrow as well

it says it is due in the autumn.
