Moonlight - Yiruma (anything by Yiruma, actually)
The Ballad Of Ianto Jones - Torchwood

Most of all, Tears In Heaven by Eric Clapton. The lyrics were read out at my little brother's funeral

    Mad world-Donnie Darko Version.

And the most obvious one, "Tears In Heaven" by Eric Clapton.

I guess they are all about death.

    - Embarrassing, but "Goodbye my Lover" by James Blunt. I didn't particularly like it but then my boyfriend dumped me :D
    - You'll Never Walk Alone - pretty much any version except by Katherine Jenkins - ugh
    - Brown Eyes - Destiny's Child (another one from being a young teenager!)
    - I See You, I See Me - The Magic Numbers

Not songs that make me cry everytime, but they do make me very sad.

    Tender - Blur
Nothings gonna stop us now - Starship
Tale as old as time - Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson:o
My heart will go on - Celine Dion
    I miss you - Aaliyah
    True Colours

I think it will always vary as most songs that make people feel upset are those that they associate with something upsetting. Sorry to hear aout peoples bad experiences by the way.

Pachabel's Canon in D, but I'm not sure what it is that is so stirring about it - it's such an emotional song though. If I get married, I want it playing as I walk down the aisle :)

Wonderful World by James Morrison. Long story, but a friend committed suicide, she sang this two nights before she did it in a school talent show...she knew she was gonna do it as far as am concerned, and she knew for a while.
You Could Be Happy by Snow Patrol - Cried while listening to this as I thought of my friend mentioned above and how her life would be now if she'd just held on, talked to somebody, got some counselling etc. Her life could be so different now.
Misguided Ghosts by Paramore - A few years on from my friends death and finding out a family secret two weeks afterwards, I heard this song and cried immediately. That song completely summed up everything, I felt totally and utterly alone. I'm not too bad now.

Surprised no-one's put down "Who Wants to Live Forever" by Queen.

Agree with the Doomsday music from Doctor Who, but also the regen music for Tennant.

I Will Wait For You by Connie Francis

Sorrow and Violent Cease Fire from Metal Gear Solid 4

2 little Boys by Rolf Harris. Seriously that song gets me simply because it is such a simple song about honour and friendship
