Flash Floor Cleaner TV ad's-SCOTTISH ACTRESS

I have memories of a Scottish woman advertising Flash floor cleaner 'Flash Cleans Floors Faster' and wished to find out more about who the actress was and see some of the ad's again (maybe on YouTube)? However after doing some Googling she seems to have been erased from history. I think the ad's were going for a long time. Possibly from the 70's to the late 80's or even 90's. So why no record on the internet?:(

Perhaps I am not searching very well?!

Who knew that Flash is branded as 'Mr Clean' in the US?

That was quick! Many thanks. :) I wonder why there is so little record of her on the internet.

MOLLY WEIR! A magnificent woman. Hazel McWitch in Rentaghost. Did a couple of Carry On films. Did some stuff with Victoria Wood. The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.

Her Wiki page mentions ads for cleaning products:

She did! I've got all her autobiographical books, they're well worth searching out, especially the first one, Shoes Were For Sunday. All about her childhood in the tenements in Glasgow.

She had a daily gig on STV in the 70s. Teatime Tales, a 5 minute reminscence session.

Just curious chinchin, any particular reason for the interest? Seems a bit random, that's all.

Also sister of climber and broadcaster Tom Weir whose programmes "Weirs Way" still get repeated on STV!

Good one, however I just remembered my Scottish friend from the forum (Scots rool) was chiding me about the state of my flat as I am not very domesticated! It must have been this that made me think of Molly, although there may be a connection with Rentaghost/Halloween as well. I used to love that programme! :)
PS Don't tell Scots rool I said she was my friend It'll go to her head!

I always remember her Flash catchphrase "cleans baths, without scratching".

Used to see her in Pinner in the early seventies.

I remember the 'Flash cleans floors faster' slogan, but not the 'baths' catchphrase strangely.

Gosh. I remember that, clear as day.

Isn't it funny, getting whisked back in time by an advertising slogan?!

Also appeared in "The High Life" - in one of the Flash ads she shrieked "get two" right at the end!
