"Straight" men who don't go down on women

At work today I couldn't help but overhear a conversation that a couple of my female colleagues were having. Basically, one of them was celebrating her birthday and the other one joked that because of this she might be lucky and her boyfriend may perform oral sex on her tonight to which the first woman stated that there was no chance.

I seem to hear about this quite a lot - straight men who don't like giving pleasure to their partners. Why is this? I can understand it if the woman doesn't enjoy the experience but from what I understand most women do enjoy it and so it just seems selfish and unfeeling for a man to not want to pleasure his partner in this way. I mean you never hear of lesbians or gay men who don't like performing oral sex on their partners so why do some men have such a problem doing it to their wives/girlfriends?

It would follow that a heterosexual man would have a natural urge to be as intimate with a female as he possibly can and so I can't help but think that it's got something to do with repressed homosexuality as I really cannot fathom why a straight male would have an objection to doing this. I understand that a large percentage of gay men pretend to be straight and get married and so if I was a woman I would quickly end a relationship with a man who is like this for fear of him turning out to be gay.

    I love to do it, however my wife finds it weird and doesn't understand why I want to do it although it gives her pleasure when I do. I feel sorry for the men who don't like it, they don't know what they're missing.

    My missus is trimmed and showers everyday, so I have no qualms about wearing her thighs as ear-muffs.

    People talking loudly about their various sexual inclinations and preferences for certain activities, by the water dispenser or out in the smoking shed? Happens all the time where I work.

    I don't smoke and I bring in my own water so I'm guessing really ;)
