What do you mean by 'lock' - the actual door locking mechanism, or are you just changing the 'key part' in order to get a different key.
The key part is very simple to do.

Replacing a dodgy EuroCylinder lock with one that should take more than 30s to open without a key?
Easy if you're reasonably handy.. Video here-

Get the right length and an 'anti-snap' one, and it's a quick screwdriver job.
ps.. as this was next on the playlist, this is why they should be replaced-

If you just want to change the cylinder then it is a 30 second one screw type job.
If the actual lock / hooking mechanism then not so much. You'll probably need some one in.
If you're changing the cylinder then you might want to do some research on "lock snapping" and "lock bumping". .....
....you'll probably end up paying more for extra secure anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-pick ones.
Standard cheapo locks on doors are a massively flawed and easy to circumvent.
I Upgraded all ours to " ABS Avocet euro secure" or something along those lines.
Nb. I have nothing to do with this company, or any security. It's just a big concern of mine.
