Thanks Andy. Their explanation suggests they've guessed at what was broadcast and its cause rather than listened to it. Never mind, it's a small pimple on the generally pleasing edifice.

BBC Radio 4 seems different from the BBC music stations on handing the news, Maybe because a speech station can't be control by machine
