A sheer masterpiece. A piece of musical and visual genius!
Ah the memories. If I remember rightly, they were a 'house band' during Johnny Vaughn's last week on The Big Breakfast. It made me laugh so much before I had to leave the house!
It's even better if you listen to the lyrics. They deserve the level of fame that Vanilla got. A criminally overlooked group in my opinion.
Aptly enough, when first clicking on that I was greeted with an advert featuring Tinie Tempah's Pass Out, which promptly reminded me that it is far worse than Supersister's Coffee ever could aspire to be.
I mean ... what in Christ's good name is this!!???
He's putting petrol in his car, then there's rotating babies of every race, and a chick with a plastic recorder dancing around with people with letters on their stomachs and a woman having her temparature taken and then he's the doctor all along and it really all happened in his eye and there's a humming bird?
Wow what a dichotomy... whilst the beat in that song is absolutely sick, I do not in any way shape or form whatsoever want to take a ride on his disco stick!!
What does anyone think of the Queen Made in Heaven videos? Great songs but I can't help but feel that some of the videos do not fit the songs well. Maybe animation of Queen would have been better if they were unable to appear as themselves.
For me a video has to be so wrong it derails an artist's career in their cringe worthiness/what were they thinking, here are three such examples:
3rd Little Boots - New In Town http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUs9YzY7t-8
At the beginning of 2009 Victoria Hesketh's musical persona deservedly won that year's newcomers Sound Of poll beating Florence & The Machine & La Roux. 12 months later her career was in a near terminal state due to some dreadful management, record company & promotional decisions that make Britney Spears' current PR/management look competent in comparison. This ghastly video direction is perhaps the most inappropriate ever for a music video, as it looks like something from a bad 1980s "blackploitation" zombie movie.
2nd Culture Club - The War Song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqI0zjn_480
In 1983 Culture Club had briefly replaced Duran Duran as the biggest pop band in the land with their Karma Chameleon & Colour By Numbers singles and album. Come 1984 and Frankie Goes To Hollywood had struck with Two Tribes; Duran Duran had returned with the tougher sounding Wild Boys single and brilliant for its times video; and Culture Club responded with this dismal lyrical effort surpassed in awfulness by this abysmal video. The dumper, a band split and a heroin addiction beckoned for Boy George.
1st Geri Halliwell - Desire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLFuJW5UvEQ
Ripping off Goldfrapp musically is one thing, but this embarrassing toenail curling mutton dressed as lamb video is off putting to the maximum.
Kate Bush - "The Dreaming". Fantastic song - terrible, terrible video like a 1972 episode of Dr. Who.
most of Kate Bush's videos have been on the rubbish side - someone once said it was probably because she stuggled to find a director who shared the same vision as her and it's probably why she went on to do her own video's with equally underwhelming results.
in regards to worst video ever - a tough one. The Weather Girls 'It's Raining Men' never ceases to amaze me.
lame? Cliff dancing in front of a background of starving children lame is polite
Well, I guess a few animations would not have been too bad. He was not dancing, just standing in one place singing while thing happen in the background.
Comments
I'd add a couple to your list:
Kate Bush - "The Dreaming". Fantastic song - terrible, terrible video like a 1972 episode of Dr. Who.
Pulp - "Sorted For E's & Wizz". Missed opportunity. Just a badly filmed live performance.
What's worse this or Friday:eek:

Just a dire video to go with a dire song just ugh.
Creed - With Arms Wide Open
Just a terrible video and the singer comes across as a dick.
Metallica - Whiskey in the jar
Sad old men trying to act out their former glory.
Also Lady Gaga - Born This Way.
Terrible over-blown pointless wreck of a video.

It's just a man's lips miming as Wildchild himself died befoire this version was produced.
I could not find this video on Youtube, but you can still here the track in question here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HB7SCXeKOg
Yes there are! The video is a bit lame though.
I don't think that song'll be too popular at the moment! I'll have to have a look at the video later and see just how bad it is.

Exactly. A very good music vid.
