Big security operation at sliding centre as we expect president Putin to arrive for the final & possible Russian gold medal winning run

God help the four men if they don't. - or the Latvians if they take it from them.

Paul Dickinson on the sherbet again!!! ........ "Great Britain 0.63 from a medal"

No ...... GB are within 0.18 off a medal. Current 3rd place bob is 0.45 behind, GB are 0.63.

Hopefully he will be in better form later on for the 4th run! ........ well we can hope. :D

I have loved these games but the Putin factor takes the edge off it for me. He pops up everywhere and the whole thing becomes about him.

Canada 3 should be thankful they are not listening to our commentary. It's as if they were expecting them to crash at corner 14, where they came to grief yesterday. :o

    Who' do such a thing ? :p

Thank you very much for these threads - they've been very useful.
Best winter games ever for me - loved catching so much of the action online and on tv.
Sochi looks a great place to visit, they've done a good pr job.

I've been looking at the use of Sochi after the games. Crystal Ski do holidays to Sochi. Might look at that next year as all the facilities will be top notch - although it's not recommended for beginners which won't help the family.

'GB could not have done any better' the commentator said.
    Well of course they could.

He really is a poor commentator, he is clueless.
He says they are doing well, and then the times show something very different.

AAAArghh he really is a annoying tosser.

Its not radio !!! you can shut up for a minute and let us hear.

"the roaor of the bobsled " ...well shut up

"the roar of the crowd " ..STFU and let us hear SOME of the sounds and atmosphere.

Its NOT radio at least take a breath.

I do hope this is Dickensen's last Olympic commentary. He is becoming an embarrassing chunterer and incoherent at times. You can list the errors he makes daily and its not good enough I am afraid. David Vine showed how it was done.

Paul Dickinson can do World's Strongest Man, but this is beyond him. Martin Haven should be doing comms.

This is a real problem with nearly all of the commentators, not just at the Olympics but with televised sport generally. They seem to think they're getting paid per word and will. not. shut. up.

We really do need a no commentary option.

"They're gonna lose time", he shrieked, followed by "but they've gained it!".

    LOL! What an absolute tool.
