Phew *wipes brow* I have a serious thing for charlie brooker. I know he is not in anyway 'physically attractive' but he really does it for me! Mind you, the new hair cut sucks a bit. lol
As Gordy Brown appears to be somewhat on the ropes this weekend, I looked for an article with a few sympathetic words from his bestest mate, Piers Morgan.
As suspected - diddly squat.
But to cut to the chase, here's another reason to admire Mr Brooker's impeccable judgement: ( ..and Miaow, Piers)
Charlie Brooker, my most regular and ferocious TV critic from The Guardian, attracted 606,000 viewers to his Channel 4 show last night, or 2.8 per cent of the entire audience at 10pm.
This is one of the worst ratings anyone can ever remember for any television show broadcast on a major channel at that time. Not that this will stop him winning a hatful of more awards at my expense (Britain's Got Talent, which he beat to an RTS award recently, is limping along with just ten million viewers at the moment). Ironically, the title of Mr Brooker's show was You Have Been Watching. Altogether now... 'Oh No We Haven't!'
