Bloody hell it's GMTV all over again this morning. Oscars galore. It's gets more coverage than a major disaster.

It was all over BBC Breakfast too

The main 4 still appear on the lift doors of ITV towers.

Glad to see the GMB gang are still on at least one lift although I think they used to have a lift each? (maybe they still have) I think Kate should be due her own lift if she keeps getting the airtime :). It must be very distracting choosing which lift to use. Personally I think I would rather enter Susanna than Ben :D
I might give GMB a miss tomorrow, I've got a feeling it might be a bit of a Madonna fest

I don't think we have ever had Susanna and Ranvir presenting before and John hasn't been on from a week or so

She has nothing to worry about, way sexier than the likes of Charlotte and Laura will ever be. Her only rival is Kate.

I enjoyed Susanna and Ranvir presenting together but, John and Ranvir should present with Susanna as newsreader!!!!

That is never going to happen as Ranvir and John are stand in's while Susanna is one of the main presenters

    As I type...

BBC Breakfast discussing speech therapy for children.

Good Morning Britain discussing how to make the best bacon butty.

Indeed bacon butties are very important, and a while back they looked at the best way to make tea - all vital breakfast components.

... for the record, for me, it has to be brown sauce (preferably Daddies) on a bacon butty and tea from a teapot. :)

You're lucky, a few weeks ago they were discussing whether one of the presenters had broken wind - complete with slowmos. Good to see ITV maintaining its high standards of journalism.

I don't want hard hitting news in the morning either - but I don't like the feminized content of GMB either. Nor most of the presenters that appear of the show.

I really wished Daybreak V1 was still here - modern looking breakfast show, all presenters were great and none of the bad ex GMTV lurking around.

Apart from Ben the only other GMTV names, John and Kate have never left

I actually wish we still had daybreak v2, in my opinion nothing was wrong with it- serious news during the first hour with 2 very good presenters in Matt and Ranvir, followed by the lighter segment with Aled and Lorraine. Some may not of liked that pairing, all itv would of needed to of done was introduce another presenter set, and I'm sure it would of remained a success. Far better than this drivel, I'm really starting to give up on it now. It's not getting any better
