Magum ice cream advice

I just bought a Magnum from the corner shop, it tasted okay but after i'd finished it I noticed there was a competion advertised on the packet that had to be entered by June 2008. I look on the rest of the packet and couldn't find a use by date. Am I going to get food poisoning now?

it's only ice cream and chocolate. and it has been frozen. i'd be a little more worried if it had nuts in but i assume you'll be fine. (And i'm one of the most panicky about food people in the world!)

No, it won't be Kimi. I expect that at the rate he gets through them, there's no chance of them going out of date!

Haha!!

Competition end date could have been before best before and even it were out of date it's unlikely to do much harm. If it looked alright then it should be fine (you can tell when ice creams have been left to defrost and been refrozen)

I had a Magnum the other day with a competition where you have to text a code that was on the wooden stick. I had already thrown the wrapper away however i could not find a use by date on the wrapper either. The lolly tasted fine and i am still alive lol
