Recording Conflict(Am I missing something?)

Set my Foxsat HDR to record "Die another day" airing on ITV1 HD tonight.Then attempted to set up "Inspector George Gently" on BBC HD this is airing at the same time as the second part of the film.My PVR indicated a series conflict.Can anyone explain why?
I haven't previously had a problem with recording two channels at the same time.
