I was messing about on the computer way past my bed time, in my basement office.
All of a sudden, at 2.00 am, the water pipe, which had been fixed by a plumber a couple of weeks ago, burst in a dramatic manner. I got soaked turning the water off (the tap was right next to the burst bit)
What were the odds of me still being up to stop a major flood? Oh my God, I can't bear to think what would have greeted me in the morning.
Just thought I'd mention it.
