She has a 1st class honours degree in dance. That should come in handy with her waitressing career. :D

These programmes put me off eating out when you see how much they use their fingers to touch the food on the plates then wipe the sweat off their faces and hair.

Becuase the parent company wants to train staff from scratch themselves in their own house style and not have staff who will bring traits from previous stints at michelin starred restaurants.

I wouldn't want someone leaning in like that pouring stuff. Either serve it ready to eat or leave me to do it myself! It's all too pretentious!

Stroppy Rogan should be trying to provide equally good food to all his customers.

I wonder why they're binning £4k worth of food.

Surely the staff would like to scoff some of it even if it's cold or has to be reheated.
    Could even invite family members.

No wonder as they are working 18 hours a day.

I've been to Manchester House, but only the cocktail bar (which is magnificent).

I'll be booking into both of these places over summer, see what they are like. TBH, when I look for reviews, I'm more likely to trust Trip Advisor, than a food critic

It's a strange industry. A lot of high end kitchens seem dominated by young men who are shouted at and swore at by a head chef who thinks he's great and you sometimes wonder why any young person would ever want to work in the industry. And then you get the exceptions such as Michel Roux who show it doesn't have to be like that at all.
