    Well quite. :)

However, I'll put my pendantry* aside for a second to say:

Not sure how many years you're going back, but State of Play (2003) is available for under a fiver from a certain well known online outlet.

    *Yes, I know.

    Apparitions was 2008

Most people didn't seem to like it, but I thoroughly enjoyed the revival of Upstairs, Downstairs.

If you like period dramas, you must watch Cranford and Call the Midwife. For something darker, The Crimson Petal and The White and Birdsong.

The best drama by a country mile was, Our Friends in the North. Shown about 15 years ago over I think about 8 episodes. I think it was repaeted a few years later but not since. Wonderful cast, Chris Eccleston Daniel Craig, Mark Stong, Gina McKee as well as a strong supporting cast. Very powerful story lines about 4 friends growing up from the 60/s through to 90' and how their lives changed

The scenes with Chris and Peter Vaughan as his father suffering from Alzeimers is the most moving piece of TV I have ever seen
