Shabnam "three bananas" Paryani from BB8 did an audition for Britain's Got Talent (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGqujGMW9iU) and she also was on Embarrassing Illnesses in the same timeslot as BB8 one week before its launch day!
I'm sure the kids from any series of Shipwrecked have been on other things as well.
