Moving out but Sky in my name

Hi,

I'm moving out from parents house in around 6 months.
I currently pay for the Sky subscription (Full HD package - Not Sky Q). The Bill is in my name... been this way for a number of years.

I will want Sky at new home (only bothered about sport) & parents will keep Sky but will probably want a reduced package although could even just go to freesat (due to costs)

I will want Fibre at my new house as well. No problem using Sky for that as well if deal is good. Currently on BT Infinity at home.

I will miss out on any new customer offers...
How should I play this to get a good deal all round? Any thoughts?

Cheers

You could transfer the account to your parents and sign up as a new customer at your new place. Ignore what Winston says and see if you can make friends with a Sky Engineer :).

When you say "Full HD package" what do you mean? If by any chance you're an F1 fan and are getting Sky Sports F1 via the legacy HD deal, remember that deal is not available to new customers and you can only get it via a full Sky Sports subscription in that case.
