    £100 a ticket? Classy!

He must think we're made of money or fools! I think i'll go with the latter.

I am sure other smaller independant ticket agencies will sell tickets at cheaper prices!! You just have to shop around!! Look in the papers or online!!

I am sure even Ticketmaster/Live Nation will have cheaper tickets!!:D:D

He should have a stacked fridge on the side of the stage near him and his mike, and be constantly interrupted by a Kramer lookalike coming on stage to borrow (for borrow, read 'nick') food from him....!

Went to see his London Palladium gig back in '98 - most of the routine was the 'I'm telling you for the last time' stuff - 90 mins of virtuoso stand-up :D

.....and the tickets were only £50.00 each ;)

He's one of the richest people in showbiz (worth hundreds of millions), so not surprised at the ticket price.

Then surely that would him less in need of a high ticket price?

Conversely it may take a massive amount of cash to get him to do it.

It's 75 quid for some of the shitty musicals in London, 100 quid isn't excessive for someone of his stature imo.

But some fans of him in this thread have said they'd love to go but find the price prohibitive. So some shitty musical charging over the odds doesn't mean he isn't. And we don't all think he's that great.

Why think about going at all if you don't think he's that great?

I don't imagine they'll have any problems selling the tickets.

That was just an aside. I'm not thinking about going.

But it's shame that fans of his are priced out of going.

I understand what you are saying but at least with the musicals the overheads are a lot more with a large cast, musicians, and all the various technical people. When it comes to an comedian the overheads are less

So glad I have no interest in Seinfield or his comedy.

What obscence prices - especially when there's just been such a bad recession that many people are still feeling.

I recently went to see Weird Al Yankovic in London on his first European tour which cost £25 a ticket (mind you we didn't get a seat included in that!). That was a brilliant show and well worth the money. I'd love to see Jerry Seinfield but can't afford those prices.

The thing is, concert and other event tickets are the same as airline tickets, in that you can usually get some pretty good cheap deals nearer the time of the event, maybe even a couple of days before the event date!!
